Meet Eldred Wee, the innovative mind steering Edenity, a firm champion in guiding small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through strategic growth and mergers.
This week's #BuildYourNetwork highlight introduces you to a leader redefining success in Southeast Asia’s bustling business landscape.
🌻 How do you set your vibe for the day?
My day always begins with a kiss and a cuddle from my son, Eden. It’s a ritual that sets the tone for everything else. My wife often jokingly requests twice the kisses for Eden, but she gets her fair share too!
Interestingly, this is also how I end my day. Starting and ending on the same note feels like I’m closing a circle—right every time.

🛋️ How do you relax?
Relaxation for me is about being present. Nothing compares to the joy of playing with Eden—not just caring for him, like changing diapers, but truly engaging and laughing together.
When I’m on my own, jogging or a game of badminton is my go-to, but winding down with my wife over our weekly Chinese animation binge is equally refreshing.
💼 How would you describe your work to someone outside of your field?
I explained it to my father-in-law once—in Mandarin, no less, though I’m not great at it!
I help people buy and sell businesses, focusing on Singapore’s SMEs with revenues between SGD 1-10 million. It’s a field built on relationships, which is why my company, Edenity, was born.
Our ethos? “Connecting People Through Valued Relationships.”

🌱 You often discuss family; why is this important to you, and what impact do you aim to achieve?
As the eldest of four in a single-parent family, I took on the role of a father figure at a young age. My father’s business failures were the catalyst for my parents’ divorce, and that left a lasting impression on me.
My goal has always been to be the dad I never had—financially secure, physically present, and emotionally supportive.
Edenity is my way of honouring the legacies of SME owners, helping them sustain their businesses for generations. Named after my son, it’s a reflection of both my personal and professional journey.
🧠 Why is promoting mental health important at work, and how do you support it?
Life can be overwhelming, and I’ve seen brilliant individuals falter under pressure.
I believe in open communication and setting clear expectations—both personally and professionally. It’s about creating an environment where boundaries are respected and support is mutual.
🌟 What advice would you give to entrepreneurs dealing with family trauma?
Be honest with yourself.
Many of us feel pressured to please everyone, but that’s neither sustainable nor healthy.
You can’t pour from an empty cup, and it’s okay to prioritise yourself. When you’re true to who you are, family becomes a source of strength, not conflict.
Remember: trauma is just a chapter in your story. Everything happens for a reason.

🤝 Do you enjoy networking?
Absolutely. I thrive on meeting people who share similar values and goals.
As an M&A professional in the professional services and media/event industries, I walk the talk. Hosting Edenity's first networking with 40 amazing individuals, including Eden as the guest of honour on his birthday, was a highlight for me.

🌐 Best encounter at a networking event?
Last Friday, at my own event, Eden ran down the aisle, hugged me tightly, and sat by my side as I moderated a panel on M&A.
It was the perfect example of work-life integration—a blend of professional growth and personal joy.
💖 What’s your favourite thing about Mole?
The energy and vibe of the team, especially Melly, is infectious.
The network and events Mole hosts are fantastic, and I can’t wait for potential collaborations in Singapore come 2025!
🎧 What are you listening to now?
"A Moment Like This"—because Edenity's first event truly felt like one of those magical, unforgettable moments.
🍧 Favourite snack or dessert?
I have an undeniable sweet tooth, and my guilty pleasure is a tub of Ben & Jerry’s vanilla ice cream. I often finish the entire tub in one sitting—definitely not my proudest moment!
